There are many different plants avaiable to use that can aid in repelling insects. For example, lavender is not just a plant that is used in homes to emit a nice smelling fragrance, it also can be used to repel moths, flies and fleas. Mint is a great plant at preventing mosquitoes and can also help other plants grow quicker such as broccoli and turnips. Geraniums are great at repelling leafhoppers and even have a specific type of geranium that is known as the mosqutio repellent plant. These plants grow extremely quick and should be planted in flower beds.
