Are you heading into the wilderness soon? It’s a good idea to avoid packing unnecessary items that will only weigh you down, tire you and potentially ruin your experience. Of course, you will need a backpack to carry everything. Appropriate clothing and tents are also must have items. Don’t forget back up weapons, water bottles and purification tablets. A first-aid kit, eye mask, ear plugs, toilet paper, wet wipes, and plenty of towels should also be taken. Everything else? Leave at home.

  • You may also need a water bottle with a purification tablet, two weapons, first aid kit, and toilet paper.
  • The things you should not pack are extra clothes, laptops, valuables, books, or items that can be bought while out.
